I recall in another 76 show, Mickey (?) saying "have mercy Weir" . I know that Bob's limited song selection, especially the cowboy tunes, was a bone of contention . If it is Mickey in both of these comments, it is odd that having just been brought back he is complaining on stage , and in your case, if it is LiG, he had not played it many times himself . I know in an interview Mickey saying he didn't like "El Paso" . I always though it strange Weir stuck to the same country songs, I know Garcai said something like 'there are 1000s of country songs to choose from' . And his blues choices were mostly, really obvious choices . Even if you stuck to to Chess stuff, there a lots and lots of great songs he could have subbed it . But, that's our Bobby .

Pretty funny.
Assuming that we are indeed talking about LIG, a search of Deadbase shows that Bobby is correct. They hadn't played it last night. Although I can see where Mick might have been confused as they had played it at 8 of the 11 previous shows of the tour.

I guess he got his point across. Weir only broke it out twice more in the remaining 8 shows of the tour. LOL

8 out of 11 ... So I guess, I the sort term, Hart had been playing it a lot ! Still you might think LiG would be one he would like, with the jamming and all . Back in the day, there were more repeat songs, night to night , I have sometimes wondered if that made them a tighter group, in those songs ?
Oh, forgot ! AR, thaat High Time is nice !

Mickey yelling have mercy is the same show. Right before around x2. Which by the way the up tempo break at the end is freakin killer. Goes to show sometimes even a bland boring song they could make kick ass.
